Such a lovely initiative to be involved in!
International Lonely Bouquet Day is a lovely opportunity to share some happiness with people who may not normally receive flowers. Once a year, florists around the world leave bouquets in unusual places for strangers to find - they can keep them for themselves, or give them to someone who needs a little pick me up. The concept is so simple, yet so pleasing having heard the responses from some of the finders.
Petals Florist left bouquets in Verwood, Ferndown, West Moors and Three Legged Cross and shop owner Jayne Oliver was delighted to hear the replies and see the photos of our recipients. "It's lovely to think such a simple gesture could spread so much happiness around the world" said Jayne as she prepared the bouquets on Saturday afternoon. Having seen the beaming smiles of the finders, they certainly hit the mark!
